Hi everyone,
I have been reading the forum for a while now, and thought I should stop hiding and say hello!
I enjoy cubans of course, but the last 6 months I have been also smoking a lot of premium non-cubans, and find them pretty amazing cigars.
I like full-bodied cigars, my favourites are Partagas and Bolivar, and generally prefer thinner cigars, like Lanceros, Lonsdales, maybe corona gordas, but will smoke the occasional robusto/Churchil now and then.
All the best

Hello Red Rum
I just moved your post here into Newbie Greets, mate.
Welcome to the forum. If you've been reading posts here for a while, you'll have a taste for the place already.
It's a lovely pungent cloud - so open your lungs. :cowboyic9:

Hi Bryan, thanks for the welcome. Thanks for moving my post to the correct forum, I missed this section. I really like the casual and friendly vibe of the forum.
I took the day off today to run some errands, smoking a Super partagas with my coffee, browsing the forums.
It's a good day I reckon!

Sounds like an excellent day, mate!
Are you going to fill in your profile and even show us where you are on the map? That would be cool!
I'm also off work so have written some nonsense in a poem and will now go and blast off with a great Cuban stick in my shack. It's a sunny day here and it feels good and peaceful.
Hope you have a good rest of the day, RR. :cowboyic9:

Hi,
I really like NCs, I get easily bored, and although I love CCs, well... the flavour differences between them are very subtle. With NCs you get great flavour variation, which I enjoy.

Hi Red Rum & welcome to the forum. I was in Cambridge on Saturday had a great day on the pop at a little pub called the Mill downing pints of "Old Rosie Cyder". I believe that you have a couple of cigar shops in Cambridge RR? any good?

If you ran out of your faves, you'd go NC. You're a cigar destroyer.
I scratch the sellophane on my remaining pack of Villigers when I'm somewhere weird like a McDonald's drive-thru. I'm sometimes tempted, but I take my hand away and just look.
I bet you'd fall if all beauty dried up. I betcha.

I know of one at the corner by S John's entrance, which is pretty decent, part of a franchise I believe. Has most of the known brands, good accessory and humidor selection and also has some NCs, but nothing special.
@TJ
I am a brave one, aren't I? :). My favourite NCs are mainly the ones made by Pepin Garcia, his Blue Label, the Tatuaje lines, Cuaba, 601 etc Illusione is one of my favourites as well. Then of course Padron, Ashton VSG, Oliva V and O among many.
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Right! I will try to decipher and respond to your post, senor.
:cowboyic9:Robusto: If you ran out of your favorite puros (Habanas), you'd go to N/C.
:41:TJ: No doubt...no brainer. My door swings both ways, dude. Even when my faves are available, I occasionally go N/C as to not waste one of my finest puros - like when I'm mowing the lawn or banging the Homecoming Queen.
:cowboyic9:Robusto: Your a cigar destroyer.
:41:TJ: No se. I don't mean to be.
:cowboyic9:Robusto: I bet you'd fall if all beauty dried up. I betcha'
:41:TJ: That's why God gave us hands, mi amigo.
:bandit: Names TJ, TJCoro, and I only pretend to understand what senor Robusto is talking about most of the time.
