A Monte Tubo(EDIT): one of two brought back from the motherland earlier this year. Contrary to what I've read about them, I found this to be a powerful smoke, very meaty, despite it's gauge. I think I'm going to assault the other one tomorrow:eviltongue:

Robusto, i too was in the garden earlier today and it seemed like it was going to turn out a nice day.I got the table and chairs into the garden and then the hail stones started to batter off my garage roof :der:( I kid ye not!).I am going to drown my sorrows in a bottle of Highland Park and a monte Sublime.

I was meaning it in the Scots vernacular as in lots of smoke not odour (although there was plenty of that as well )

Stevieboy, I thought the weather in the kingdom of Fife was always better and you`ve just confirmed that.Like you, i still have about a weeks leave left, so hopefully it will be a scorcher. Will have to open another box before too long, not sure what to try. Will have to think about it.

Whisk - You Scots guys have the space and beauty, but you must live life in duffel coats lol. When we moved from Sheffield to Kent, we thought we'd moved to the Cote d'Azur weather-wise! We've all had it bad this last year, tho. Let's hope we can light up and enjoy the outdoors a lot this Spring and Summer. Meanwhile, happy smoking, mate. :biggrin1:

I think the MC sublimes will be looked back on as one of the classic ELs in years to come....might be worth getting a 2nd box for myself

Ending the night with a A Feunte 858...
:biggrin1:
:eek:Wow! The A. Feunte 858 is one of the first "real" non-cuban stogies I smoked and it has been a staple in my humi ever since.:biggrin1:
I'm ending the night with a non-cuban La Aurora Preferido Maduor. A classically shaped perfecto that stands up quite well to many of the fine Habanas I enjoy.:849:
:bandit: Names TJ, TJCoro, and the 858 was once my trademark stogie.

Started with a well aged ERDM Lonsdale, quite a musty taste, more so than the others I've had from this box. Then later had a very nice Monte No.2 :41:
