I am new to the forum, so I trust I am posting in the right place. Equally, I hope I am not repeating something others have already posted.

I was in Frankfurt on business recently and stayed at the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof. A grand old style hotel slap bang in the centre of the city.
My main reason for staying there was 1. I had heard it had a cigar lounge, 2 it was a 5 minute walk from where I was working.

The hotel was very nice, but the cigar lounge called Cigarrum was a real treat.
It opens at 17.00 till 01.00 (or whenever the last smoker retires).
The bar has a very good selection of fine Rhums, Malts and wines, including ports etc.

The lounge is a good size with plenty of very comfortable armchairs.
There are two humidors, one containing (the ever present in Europe) a selection of Davidoffs. The other, an interesting selecion of fine Havanas. Siglo II, VI, Partagas D, Montecristos of different sizes and RYJs among others.

A very pleasant place to while away an evening.

By the way, is there a resources of where to smoke around Europe??

Sounds like a nice venue, I do like how the Germans are very Pro Cigars and as the "Head" of Europe where smoking is banned they have plenty of indoor smoking bars etc.

Next time i'm in FRA, i'll give it a whirl.

Many thanks.

Difficult to say really, I enjoyed it but couldn't pick out any big flavours
A bit of chocolate and raisin was there.
Now what I'm not sure about is whether to buy a box or not
The shop I was in yesterday had only about 10 singles of the J Lopez Obus RE left , think I'll snap them up
Had an SD4 (had to be done) from the Ciggarium Humi last night before bed perfect night cap with a cognac and coffee
More later...
