I am currently looking at purchasing some San Cristobal.I have never tried these and was curious to find if any other members of UKCF had tried them and what the consensus of opinion was in relation to their strength, construction, draw, taste, etc.I have read that the La Fuerza Vitola is rated as the best in the range, so i would probably be looking at a box of these.I have been looking to try them for some time now but always seem to end up purchasing an alternative.

The La Punta is excellent, currently got a box of these and some of El Morro's ageing. Well worth buying.

Mr. Whisky,

I regularly smoke the Principe and keep it in my morning rotation with another fine puro, the Bolivar Bonita.:41:

I was gifted a San Cristobal last week by Stogiedawg. To save time, I was knocked out by the quality of the taste and draw. I'm definitely investigating the smaller cigars in the SC range. A real treat, and Blitzkriegs of beautiful smoke to go.

Thanks for all the input from different members in relation to the SC.Think i will go with a box of La Fuerza and see how it goes form there.

I recently tried my first, it was the El Principe. The construction and draw were very good. The flavor was nice, smooth, not much spice just good straight forward tobacco flavors. Someone earlier mentioned these being creamy and I would agree with that.

I've not had many Craig but I had a La Punta at the weekend and it was excellent. Very, very creamy. Excellent draw and construction. This is another brand that requires further investigation

I can vouch for the Le Principe. Kick-backside

Very little consistency through the marca in my experience. For me the El Principe stands out. The new range have more kick but less chocolate flavour, more bitter fruit flavours (like a Partagas/Quai D'Orsay cross.)

I have noticed good consistency in terms of the dark shiny wrappers that people like.

I'd echo Stevie points about the creaminess, both the La Punta and La Fuerza. They're a well 'rounded' tasty stick, but then again, I'm crap at descriptions. I don't think you'd be disappointed with either Craig.

Apologies for not updating this link guys.I managed to source an 07 box of La Fuerza around three weeks ago, but have only managed to smoke one of them before I came to work, so it`s too early to offer an opinion in full.

First impressions though were that they reminded me of MC, VR and Trinidad all rolled into one cigar. And in my mind that is good company to be in.:smoke:
