And all nicely mounted on, what would appear, cedar. Some real vintage there. Very impressive.

Cohiba IV, i know it sounds like a STD but I believe that vitolophily( not sure of the spelling) is the official name for people who collect cigar bands.It first started in the latter part of the 19th century after the Cubans started to put bands on their cigars to prevent counterfeits( obviously worked then!).
I do not have any of the older bands like the ones in your link, but i made up a collage a few years ago from all the bands i had collected over the years and i framed it in the room that i usually smoke in.I thought it was cool, everyone else thought i was an anorak.DILLIGAF.
It is now in the loft, next time i`m up there i will get a photo of it.
