There were 1 litre bottles of this available in Gatwick for most of the year for £36. I haven't been through Gatwick in a few months though. Will be again in January.
It's a good rum, I find it a little too sweet.

I'm another one who loves it! One of the best things you can drink with a cigar.

It is sweeter than more other rums but it's not sickly when you're sipping it slowly.

Yes I have bud, and had a Montecristo Robusto LE 2006 of which was gifted to me by the mad mexican TJ with it the other night...

A great drop of Rum IMHO.

It is sweeter than other rums that I enjoy but once you get over that, I find the sweetness goes well with a good cigar..

Glad you enjoyed it CohibaIV! I've yet to embellish my drinks cabinet with a bottle of my own but having had the chance to enjoy this with a nice robusto, it left a bit of an impression on me! This high on my wish list for the next time i make an order with the whiskey exchange!

Absolutley awesome rum! If you like that try:

El Dorado 12 year old, really nice and sweet Guyanese rum, also available in 15 and 21 year old but I find them to be lacking in complexity.
Or Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva, a really dark Venezuelan rum.

Really enjoyed it Monks. One of them cigars that you wished lasted a lot longer than they do.
I don't often smoke a cigar until it burns my fingers but I did with this one.

Just brought a bottle of this rum back from Barcelona...:biggrin1:, and also picked up a couple of the Monte Robusto 06 LE's, had a good look round on this trip and found a great little shop that had quite a few older LE's I don't know which area you are in on your trip Dale.... but this shop was right opposite the NH Calderon hotel - Casa Fuster I Fills, 29 Rambla Catalunya, about four good shops are on the Ramblas inc. Gimenos.
