I got some pics of my Father's mini crop - but he's already turned it into ready-to-be-rolled tobacco! http://www.cigarpass.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif
Here's his humidor with the last of the crop.

He stuck one in a roll-up for me - tasted lovely, very creamy like a caf? creme or like those Havana minis you get - which I'm quite fond of.
Not an amazing amount or anything, but not bad for terrible British weather in a paved-over terrace house down south!

How large were the plants before they were cropped (height/width) ?
Found a couple of sites with info:-

and the good ol' BBC:-

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but did anyone else pursue this? How did it work out?

Don't expect any results yet. Deano will insist on the leaf being aged for no less than 4 years for a Pullen Reserva!
I got some seeds a couple of weeks a go...plan to get them going this weekend, I dont have a clue how long it takes until they are useable...will report back with results.

I was told that 2 days in the freezer before planting helps the seeds, may be worth trying with half.

I may get some this weekend. I'm looking at Nicotiana sylvestris as they are hopefully ornamental enough to be tollerable in my parents garden. What seeds did you get?
