Was planning to head to spain soon, can anyone advise on the sort of prices I can expect to pay?

If I remember right they are all set by the Spanish Government. I seem to recall being able to google a copy of the official price list the last time I travelled there. The one I have saved currently is 2 years out of date... It's a sight cheaper than here, with the smaller sticks representing the best value IMHO.

I lied... I have a Jan '11 copy of the official price list. I'll see if I can post it...

When i goto spain to see my folks (i try to stay at least a ocean away from them) i always pick me up some cigars as the prices are always very VERY good value and if you make a effort to speak spanish to them you might even get something thrown in for free if the lady (well my regular tobacconist by the station in sitges is a lady) is in a good mood.
