A glorious SNUB given to me by the DAWG yesterday afternoon.

Smoked after breakfast in my lounge. Missus at work. Alone. All windows open. There'll be a small moan when she comes home about the whiff. Whatever.

Sparked up after not being able to connect vision and audio with TJ in some cafe at Amsterdam Airport. Tried for 20 minutes, and I could receive our man easily but couldn't transmit back so he chatted and I typed. Nuts!

So toast-y in taste. Quite beautiful for a morning draw.

I'm going to keep lounging around on what is the last day of my break and light up a second! :cowboyic9::cowboyic9::cowboyic9:

Looks a lil' faecal, treacle! Bl**dy Jack Russells.

Read about them, and now they sound lovely. Gotta get, gotta get. Nice little smoke for a lunchtime at work I'm thinking.

Incredible the technological advances we have at our disposal eh.

Guide Senor TJ in, and bring him down to land Bryan:smile:

Destination Herfminster:rock:

Tucking into my very first Partagas D4. Got some last week to what all the fuss was about, now I understand, right from the moment it was lit.
At this rate I may never go back to nc's
Like loosing my cheery again for the first time, only this lasted longer

They're mighty tasty aren't they Mark? Well rounded flavour. My first I wasn't sure what all the fuss was actually about, but then after that, mmmm:smoke:

Evenin' Gents,

Just got back from a lovely evening in London town with a most gracious host - Sir NicWing:nerd:.

We met at my dump of a hotel (easy TJ, they do things a bit different here) and off with went, via the Tube (Mind the Gap) to a fantastic resturant and cigar terrace - Boisdale. What a fantastic place to enjoy a fine puro, drinks, and good conversation. A must for every puro aficionado!

My only regret is that more of the fourm members couldn't join us. Thanks Nic for making my first night in town a warm and memorable event. :849:

As they say at Boisdale, "Love is like a cigar, if it goes out, you can light it again, but it never tastes quiet the same.":der:

The puro we selected for the evening was the Hoyo de Monterrey Regal EL 07 - perfect puro to forget the rain and the cold.:41:

:bandit: Names TJ, TJCoro, and I'm looking forward to meeting the rest of the walkers.:creep:

After last night's Boli and with Whisk asking how they compare, I decided on a Boli RC ce soir....not had one in ages and the last couple I had were fairly unremarkable. I was delighted with the one tonight...one of the best robustos I've had recently :hail:

stevieboy, I smoked a box of Royal Coronas around March last year and they were first class. The box was from 2006 and i felt that hey had lost the bitterness which i had previously associated with the brand.
I was interested in your comparison in the RC and the Regionales , as i wanted to pick up a couple of boxes; one to smoke and one to age. Thanks for the comparison.
