View Full Version : Cuaba Solomones
Anyone tried one of these beasts? Its what got me hooked on cubans...complex from start to finish, it delivers so many surprises, pity I cant say the same about the rest of the range.

Hey Kdot,
They're a size alright.
I tried a Tradicionales at the weekend on the walk, and au contraire, I thought it was great little smoke for the size. Really flavoursome: maybe I got lucky:smoke:

I've tried all the Cuabas (I think) and really like them. My fave is the wee one (Divinos IIRC)...very powerful for such a wee smoke. You can't beat a Diademas for a pose though!! 9" long....the cigar that is

Hey Kdot,

They're all good. Cuaba seems to be a very much overlooked range...I love 'em
No.

Well you're missing out Sir:eviltongue:, I suggest you rapidly remedy the matter and see what the fuss is about.

I've not tried the tradicionales, ive tried the generosos and thought that the draw was too easy. Prefer the bigger Cuabas, seem to be almost perfect in flavour and construction. The looks you get when smoking a Solomon in public is hilarious. :cowboyic9:
Agree with Steevie that the brand does not get the attention it deserves.

:spy:Don't tell anyone, senor stevieman...but I have actually smoked the wee one myself some time ago and found it quite delightful.
(Keep it to yourself, please. If anyone finds out I enjoyed a "petit," there will be hell to pay!! Right, Mr. Peanut, or was it the Itallian guy?? What you saw on the puro walk in London stays on the walk!!!):spy:
:bandit: Names TJ, TJCoro, and petit puros are for ladies!

I'm a huge fan of Cuaba. The Piramides Edition limitada is a great smoke, and I love the Distinguidos.
Was actually in the local cigar shop today and noticed these, basically because of their gigantic size, actually put me off a bit, don't think I'd buy one, with my small-ish hands it would be like holding a rolled up newspaper between my fingers :biggrin1:
