When one gets rid, there is a list of options about saving to folders and stuff.
Can one save one's PMs to, say, a Word file on one's PC instead of evaporating them to nothing, Deano?
I'm a collector. I don't like destroying willy-nilly, you see.

sure, I would just cut & paste it in 3 clicks as follows
Open your message
Press keys CTRL+A - This will select everything in your PM
Press keys CTRL+C - This will copy
Press keys CTRL+V - This will paste it
Job done, save your word doc.
or you could tick the box of the PM and select download as a text file.

PMs can be downloaded as text files. When you are in your inbox, scroll down towards the bottom of the page and it gives the option to download them to your desktop. It gives a few different file options, I just use text.
