I sat smoking a double corona this afternoon and reckon this might be the case.

Wondered what your thoughts are on this.

I smoked a (rather hurried) Bolivar this afternoon, a little tightly wrapped and very little smoke but boy it was tastier than Limahl's lingerie :41::41:

The Excalibur 1066 Dark Knight I omits huge clouds of thick, creamy, blue smoke...

Certainly one of the more denser/thicker smoke Puros in my collection...

I had a Monte Edmundo last Saturday night, creamy and lots of smoke.
It was FANTASTIC!

I would be interested if you could give us some tasting notes on Limahl's lingerie.

Then again, maybe not.

I think maybe I need a brain scrub to get that BAAADDD thought out of my head.

I've found smoke volume to be how well the cigar is light, it's normally the case for me. If I get stupid little draws I know im gonna face major coning when the ash breaks off. If Im puffing away before the first tier of ash has fallen, I know ive lit my cigar perfectly.

Although this isn't always the case, I get some good smokers and sometimes theymay be coning/tunnelling. Who knows why / how it smokes so well even when theyre doing that.

I hate those sticks which you light well, but there's just no helping them; Probably plugged / tight as hell. What can ya do eh?

Most of my favourite cigars thus far have provided excellent smoke clouds - just the ticket if I were to be in distress in the middle of Wyoming, for example...

Then again, I've had a cigar that was as bland as Fern Britton is plain that produced thick clouds of smoke. :hmmmm:

I must say that I haven't given it much thought but I have never had a really satisfying smoke below a robusto/gorda size. Anything less always feels like it is a substitute for what I would smoke if I had more time.

I get very frustrated if I have to work to get the smoke through and anything less than the larger sizes is not really enough for me.

LOL!!!

Yeh, time on my hands today, which was nice...

Trawled through loads of old threads and hopefully helped a few get back on their feet...!?! :top:
