Looking forward to visiting a good TABAC or two because they take cigars more seriously out there than here in my corner of England.

Will put my feet up, stop - and smoke some in peace!

J'adore la France!

And I remain correct on the TABAC observation. Go into many tabacs and there is a small humidor - or a weird unhmidified (?) glass cabinet sometimes - of Havanas. My trusty Partagas were always in evidence so I was a happy boy with stogies for each night - tho the weather was not up to much.

In so many ways, the French have a developed taste for the best things in life. And they are not hand-waving nutcases about smoking in public. On every cafe or restaurant terrace, people lit up - so I did, too.

I didn't hear a single moaning voice. Not one!
