I can add it if we think it'll be of any use?

It's $49 though, so I'd probably ask for some donation scheme or something, as I will when the forum license needs an upgrade (about £100 a year).

That would be great.

I'm sure no one would mind tipping in a couple of quid!

I would be glad to give some Quids. What ever the hell that is? If its for the better of the forum. So what is a quid?

nicwing

Can Quid be used as a plural? 100 quids just doesn't sound right

Is this the MSN-style thing on facebook? I've used it once when MSN went down. Up to you though. Speaking of which, I should probably hunt a few of you down on facebook...

That said, I'm happy to pay a few quid subscription to use the forum. Other places I've been that do that have given privileges for subscribers eg. custom titles, etc. which might be nice.

Quid is like sheep! The plural of quid is quid!

Its makes for hours of fun. For example if someone were to ask you for £36 it sounds like Thirty Sick Squid!

Maybe its a british thing.

Deano
11-06-2009, 10:34 AM
Ok I'm thinking of everyone interested simply sending £2 via cheque - from there I will add up the rest.

Thanks!

So it's installed and working.

It'll only show members on your friends list, not all members.... seems to work ok. Anyone like it?!

Robusto
21-06-2009, 09:58 AM
VERY good addition, my man.

As I've just posted to you through it, I will prefer this to msn and Skype. I'm a bit of a moody sod and I find both of those can intrude on my on-screen work.

With this chatspace on the forum, there will be fewer people to barge in randomly. AND if we're busy, we'll be able to say not now, guys.

It will be nice to type away instantly with people rather that the ping-pong of PMs we make.

So - Hats Off! :smoke:

Having originally been slightly unconvinced by the need for this, I'd just like to give some feedback that I think this was a worthwhile addition.

Deano
03-07-2009, 10:46 AM
Well that's good to hear. I've hardly used it yet, but it has been useful the odd few times I have.
