Female masturbation videos.

Do links like that crop up on the forum because they are spam or robot-made?

Or does someone come along and put them on here?

It's bizarre!

I know where to look if/when I get the urge, but it's bizarre that they crop up on a cigar forum?!

Bot made. But not the worst kind of spam ever ;)

Is there a Captcha option for the forum software?

even captchas are no use these days, some of them can be 'machine read' and those that can't can be forwarded to a real human who enter it and then the script takes over again.

There are sites in eastern europe that specialise in recruiting people for the work, they pay about US$100 for 1,000 captcha entries

Aye the captcha we use hasn't been broken (yet). It's all human broken.

Humans normally register and then hand over to bots to post. We use a cigar related question on my forum. If answered incorrectly, it won't let you register. Working pretty well at the moment

It appears I'm well behind on the tech!

Aye. Me too, it seems...

WTF is Captcaha???

And what spam is 'worse' than female masturbation videos?

And what's their beef in posting those?

I'm intrigued because I have no idea how spam works.

Using a question matt talks about will make no difference at all. We already have captcha in place which is currently bot proof. If a human can input the captcha, he'll input the cigar question too.

Captcha is basically just that randomised text you see on registration as an image, and have to type it in.

So, in reality, if someone wants to get onto a forum, they'll make the effort to register the recognised safe way and then post up cr&p: either manually, or via a bot. I can think of better things to do, such as Bryan's French oral thingymajig:madgrin:

Hehehe... I never knew that marking would be considered a better option to much! lol

I just wondered whether if someone writes muff, quim or beef - par exemple - whether a robot zooms in on such things in a linguistic way.

"You wrote muff so cop for this spray vid".

Is this why you and I get constant under-the-counter Viagra emails?

I used to get literally hundreds of what I thought was spam emails a day for viagra and p3nis extensions until I found out the wife was subscribing me everytime she logged on.

Why did a thread entitled 'Deano' have to end up like this

Haha! Could be worse:

"Female masturbation Deano?"
"Is this porn real Deano?"
"Masturbation robot Deano?"

etc...
