Hello all!
I've been browsing the forum for a few days and decided to take the plunge and join up! I'm still relatively inexperienced in cigars so I'm hoping to learn a lot here!
I'm also looking to go to the cigar and rum tasting session in London later this month!

Only a few, im trying to taste a range of brands to get a sense of what i like. What i have tried;
Partagas Serie P no. 2
Bolivar Petit Corona
Diplimaticos No.4
Punch Gusto Tube
Hoyo de monterrey excalibur
Cohiba red dot (believe this is dominican?)
plus a few which i forget.
I still have;
Fonseca kadete
Cohiba Siglo VI
Romeo Y Julieta Medallas De Oro 1875
Has this been a good starting point or have i been wasting my money??

Welcome! Sounds like you're going through a good few to see what you like, good idea. Sounds like you're on the right track to me. Variety is always a good thing, you'll be able to hone down to exactly what you like - even if that's everything!

I don't know anything about the non-Cubans but the Cubans you've tried are all excellent choices...the Siglo VI is a cracker too :)

:yo:Welcome senor :fish2:sturgeonfish,
:nerd:Now that the niceties are out of the way, e.g., "welcome," "glad you made it," "have a nice day!" :puke:
Just how many names to you have anyway:hmmmm:, senor sturgeonfish...is it sturge or james??? :mad:
You seem a bit young, mate :baby:. Are you old enough to buy your own stogies or does your :drama:mum have to write you a note:deal:? (I bet you steal 'em from your pop!) :pound:
Did senor :nerd:serious even check your ID before he let you join? ....did me:mad:.
:bandit: Names TJ, TJCoro, and somebody's gotta' :damnmate: slap the newbies around a bit to toughen their :849:puro puffin' hydes. It can be a long, torturous jouney around these parts, chicho!*

Thats correct, i picked it up while i was in the US last year. I've yet to try my cuban cohiba which i am looking forward to. It seems to get good reviews! Im not a big smoker but do as you are all probably aware of have one from time to time to relax and treat myself!
