I was thinking about a box of ERDM Coronas which are in my humi and are from 98 or 99, I think.

I also have some Boli Coronas Gigantes from early 2001 and I was wondering if many of the forum members have any really well aged boxes of cigars.

I am sure my ERDM are the oldest i have, does anyone have anything older in their humidor?

I have a box of Ramon Allones Small Club Corona (http://www.ukcigarforums.com/showpost.php?p=9952&postcount=10) from August 1959!! :biggrin1:

Stevieboy you lucky devil, now im having to adjust my trousers...!!!

I have a part box (smoked the rest) of Montecristo DC's LE01 and a box of Cohiba Piramides LE01.

The only 'normal' box of cigars i have with a vague bit of age to them is the Partagas Lusitania with a box date of 03.

LOL!! I really enjoyed the few MC DCs from 2001 that I've had but I've never gotten on with the Cohiba Piramides from 2001...I've not tried the 06 either...any opinions on it??

Yeh the Monte DC's have been absolutely wonderful, I had one last week sometime and honestly when i opened the box the smell was just like unwrapping a bar of dark chocolate, and the stick itself just smoked beautifully...

Regards the Cohiba Piramides i've not tryed either the 01's or the 06's, i have a box of the 01's but not the 06's. Im loathed to smoke them just yet as all the reviews i've read have said they need more ageing...

They definitely need more of something mate as I found them very, very harsh with no real distinguishing flavours. I had a box of 25 and smoked 4 or 5 and didn't like any so punted them on...hopefully they'll settle down for you :41:

I am impressed with 1959 Stevieboy, doubt if anyone is going to better that at all.
