Are there any whole-sale shops anywhere in West Yorkshire to get Cigars? I'm in the HUddersfield/Bradford/Leeds Area.

In all honesty Bob I think the internet is your best friend. Unless, you are lucky enough to live near a real tobacconist I think there is no real alternative nowadays. I live in London and I know I could hop on the tube and go into Town but it is time and effort and it is easier to sit at my keyboard. My opinion anyway.

I agree, Ive converted to buying online, tommorow I will spend £5 on a cigar, full in the knowledge that I have 25 of the same cigars coming to me for £28. Thats £1.12 per stick. But I just want to smoke tommorow, not in a weeks time (impatient bugger).
As much as i love lookin in the shops humis, financially, its way better online.

That way you get the luxury of selecting your own and having it in your hands there and then. Plus the warm glow of having supported an independent retailer. Then there's always the fact that it's only cost £3.88 more to do so!
[EDIT] bobscigar, take a look at the sponsor above or some of the other retailers mentioned in the Where To Buy forum.

I agree Dave
I for one buy a lot of my cigars on-line but we must ALL support out (if your lucky enough - local) high street tobacconist as they are a dying breed and if we don't then they WILL be gone forever...
On-line - bulk
High St. - singles

I had a friend who sent me 50 cigars from the USA. I didn't know they were coming, and as they were handed to me, slapped on the side was a customs invoice for £90.00! (OUCH!)
If I use the internet (cigarsofhabanos.com) won't I be nailed for customs tax again? :41:

£4.50 a stick bargain................... even with the tax on, you are still gonna potentially pay more on the high st even for a NC, bobs.

Well Bob, it's hit and miss really. From what I've seen though, more stuff from the USA gets looked at than from Europe, and as The Dog says I suspect even with a Customs hit there are savings to be made.
