I see Trantors via http://www.cigar-connoisseur.co.uk/ have a monthly club which costs £29 per month with 4 to 6 cigars as your selection. You can join or leave at any time. Anyone a member or been a member? Any good? Is it worth it?

I wouldn't mind knowing the range of cigars in the monthly pack.

Could be interesting...!!!

But like Robusto would be good to know what the monthly packs generally consist of...!?!

Lets hope they get back to you...

I hope they get back too. If they do I shall post up what they say.

I think it's a nice idea, and a good way of trying different sticks. If I manage to get a little store going down in Plymouth it was something I was considering (though only four times a year). Maybe three Cubans and a quality NC (Padron, Rocky etc)?

Yes, that does look good. Just had a look myself.

Loved the banner they had on the home page. We should have this also

I could amend it to say. "This site contains images of tobacco that make some grown men weak at the knee's"

Well, I telephoned Keith and signed up today. My first "shipment" will be the August 2009 selection. No idea what's in it until it arrives.

I am going to give the "Club" a four month trial and review in the New Year. I'll come back to this thread every month and give a report on what is in the Monthly selection and will also report on what they smoke like! Although some I may "put by" to age.

No taste notes Bnelly - just a list of what, type and where from.

Post up your views on them Al when you've smoked them...

Good man...

What's this a retailer who actually cares about his customers...!?!

That said the majority of cigar shops I've been to have all been excellent, passionate about their product I suppose...!?!

(Plus, of course, the best customer is a repeat customer; and the best way to get repeat custom... good customer service ;) ).
