Hi guys,
Most of the cigars i tend to smoke are when im out drinking with friends so i tend to prefere the smaller thinner ones. I have tried some Hamlet ones and didnt realy like them and have also tried Monte Cristo Club wich i thought were very good and at the moment i am working my way through a few boxes of Panther Mignon De Luxe cigars wich i enjoy aswell.
Could anyone recomend others that i could try that are a simmilar size?
Thanks!

What sort of length smoke are you looking for?

The Fonseca KDT Cadets are a swift half-hour smoke (just right with a good pint of bitter). They weren't my favourite smoke ever (see here (http://www.ukcigarforums.com/showthread.php?t=2073)), but they're acceptable enough for down the pub when you don't want something too overpowering.

The El Rey del Mundo Petit Corona is another small cigar which works great with a pint, but this lasts about 45 minutes or so. (See here (http://www.ukcigarforums.com/showthread.php?t=1871)).

If you want something a bit cheaper, and aren't necessarily after a Cuban, then I'd say that the Dannemann Moods tubos are probably the best continental cigars (beat the pants off Hamlet and Villiger). An ideal sized too. Their Moods Filters are quite good too if you have to time your trips with a cigarette smoker (though they do last a bit longer than a fag). It's my cheap stick of choice when I'm in Europe, very difficult to find over here though. :( Shoppy link... (http://www.cigarette-store.net/cheap-cigarettes/moods/moods.html)

Prob a bit pricey but the Cohiba exquisitos are quite nice for a 30min or so smoke, granted I had a sunny day buff while i was smoking but still a nice lil package

ERDM Demi Tasse, Trini Reyes, Por Laranaga PC, Party Serie du Conny #3, San Cristobel El Princpe - all very different sizes, but small(ish), all can be wonderful IMHO :pop2:

(In my opinion) you've always got to be careful, when smoking with a pint, not to overpower your drink. Some drinks stand up to some quite intense cigars, lots don't.

I suppose it depends what you're drinking when you're out. If it's lager, don't worry, there's no taste to overpower... :pound:

Hi SoC

All cigars previously mentioned by the guys are all great short smokes. However, if you don't fancy any of them, you could always go with a...

Monte No.5
Punch Petit Punch
Partagas Short
H.Upmann Petit Corona
Hdm Le Hoyo du Maire
Cuaba Divinos

If these are all still to big then you could try any of the Cuban minis (not the best things in the world but still way better than a Hamlet, IMO).

Cheers, HabanoSy

The PPP has been flagged for deletion I think...it was one of the very first cigars I ever smoked from a Taste of Cuba sampler from C.Gars.....seems so long ago (he said wistfully :))

Yep they certainly have Stevieboy, although I do believe that H&F do have a fair amount of boxes still left in their warehouse...

Shame coz they are a nice little early morning smoke with a good strong coffee.

Better get some ordered...!?!

Dear Mr Son,

Yes, there is something very pleasing about the small cigar. Sits well between the teeth, has a bit of a kick, makes some good perfume when you're out and about.

Try the Invicta Panatella (NC) for a good value, relatively decent little one. Cohiba and R&J miniatures are decent machine-mades.

And seeming as though confessions are being made, I have to bow my head in shame and admit that I do enjoy the odd Dutch machine made -- so if you can get your hands on a Panter Dessert, as they say in the trade -

Don't be Shy, Give it a Try!

Ramon Allones Small Club Corona or San Cristobal El Principle two of the best small Cuban smokes neither will disappoint and they age well in the humidor.:41:

San Cristobal El Principe good fresh
Partagas Short good with a little time on it kind of wild fresh.
Trini Reyes good fresh spicy and woody , mellows a lot after a year
ERDM PC or Lunch Club is teh good
RASCC is okay some love it I am not a fan of most Ramon Allones
RYJ Mille Fluer
Boli PC Not a huge boli guy but these are good
ANYTHING La GLoria longer but skinny always great draw.

As to the PPP I heard it was gonna get whacked also. The tres was a good stick that got killed to. They also killed the ERDM Lunch CLub a friggin crime against humanity in my book. Its the wave right now though. I mean this in a non offensive way, but noobs love big rg, not underatanding that the smaller RG is where all the flavors are.

I'm down with the RASCC and El Principe too. Bolivar Bonitas are a staple mexican item as well, for ol TJ. I'm in the process of securing some Boli Coronas Junior, which again is a good small smoke.

You'll have lots of fun deciding, but what fun it'll be when you get them.

Villigers? Mmm, "local people" (in best League of Gentlemen voice)
