Malaga, Gibralter, Morocco

Gents,

I'm going to be spending two weeks around Malaga, Gibralter, Morocco from the 11th of August.

Already made a shopping list which includes...

The spanish market monte travel humidor someone posted a few months back, if its still available.
Monte Sublimes.
and any regional editions.

So my questions are two fold here.

1. Can anyone give me a list of recent regional puros for those areas mentioned?

and

2. As i'm too lazy to use google to find the best stogie shops in the area, can anyone make any (personal) reccomendations?... (might be a good idea for the more computer literate BOTL to make a wiki page about the best shops in major cities)

My mate brought this from tenerife so ill assume theyre a local brand, these are the best light smokes Ive ever had, loose draw, big smoke, easy going as hell. Cant find them anywhere though, id buy them in a heartbeat

got a mate who works on cruise ships and he says everyone gets their cigars from Gibraltar as its a duty free port, one problem with that is that its is classed as an international area and legal limts for cigars bought is 50..but if you are going there have a look at the following site for a cigar shop in gibraltar http://www.stagnetto.gi/

I've been to the La Casa at Gibraltar. They say their price is cheaper since it's duty free, but it's seems to me it's pretty much the same compare to Spanish. Well if you travel to Andorra, it would be a different story

I'll keep my eyes peeled for them Deano, if i've got any spare cash lying about after my multiple trips over the border then i'm happy to pick you up one.

I checked the shop that Skyhigh reccomended, some great prices and I emailed them about the monte Humi, but i doubt they will have it as they're range comes from Hunters and Frankau and the item in question is a spanish exclusive, so will have to hunt for it in Malaga most likely.

I was in Spain (Seville, Cadiz, Jerez) and Gibraltar last month. Every little estanco that has any cigar selection whatsoever seems to have that Monte travel humidor. It is a nice thing, same price as a regular box of Monte 4s in Spain (€137.50). Storage conditions and staff interest will vary considerably from shop to shop though. The box itself is well made and will come in handy when emptied.
Gibraltar does not have them as it is not Spain, however there are some good deals to be had there. Gibraltar is currently cheaper than Cuba for cigars due to the weak sterling. There is a very good shop there, run by very good people. The limit is 50 cigars when crossing back into Spain, it's not worth trying to get away with more, bring non-cigar smokers with you and use their allowance..
I'm not familiar with Malaga with regards to cigar shopping but look out for the Ramon Allones Grandes Spanish regional edition if you find a decent estanco. They are very very good, better than the Vegas Robaina Maestros from the year earlier IMO, these are the two Spanish regionals so far by the way.
Try a search on www.google.es (http://www.google.es) for "cava de puros malaga"
As far is Morocco is concerned, I've only been there once but you will have a hard time finding real cuban cigars in Marrakech or Agadir. Agadir airport has a limited but decent little selection of duty free cigars (authentic).
The Spanish enclaves of Cueta and Melilla (think Spanish Gibraltars) in North Africa have cigars at Spanish prices less duty, so there could be deals to be had there.
