Yep, finally went away for the long awaited short break to Brugge / Bruge which ever way you want it spelt, not my first visit, however my first time seeking out Cigar locations.
I posted a thread some time ago about Brugge and was informed about Jerry's Cigar Bar. I made a visit this week. I would recommend you drop in if you are in Brugge to pick up or top up LOL some CCs and NCs. Jerry's had a good selection of cigars and you can smoke indoors if the weather is bad.
They also do a good line in Single Malt Whiskys for our forum members North of the border. I purchased a couple of Cuabas and went outside to demolish them over a fine cup of continental coffee. The cigars I purchased seemed aged and smoked very well. The photos show a couple of guys smoking and drinking coffee it was stiffling hot in Jerry's, thats why we went into the square.
Worth a visit. Like my review about Rochester, even in Europe it seems that good tobacconist's are begining to get fewer.
I never had a problem smoking in Brugge indoors or outdoors that said I never smoked in a resturant.
One of the reasons I love going to Europe is you are not treated like the great unwashed if you smoke. I did get some interested looks when you get out your travel humidor and all your instruments, and choose a large cigar people are fascinated by the clipping, lighting and those great big large plumes of white smoke, you can feel and see them watching you great..........
I can also recommend "Krieke" or Cherry Beer, yep I know!!! but don't knock it till you try it. I found it good stuff not strong though.
