The gf is out at a hen next weekend which means I have some premium :41:time on my hands!

Anybody up for meeting somwhere in central London next Sat for a few drinks and cigars?

I am thinking around trafalgar square as I may hit JJ Fox on my way...

I know a good pub near Holborn station and theres also a few pubs near Russell Sq, also herfed on Friday at a nice small back street pub near Baker Street....

I recommend we meet outside russel square tube at around 18:00 then as there seem to be a few options around there.

I don't know the area that well so I am happy to go with the flow when it comes to venue once we have all met up.

Does that time and place fit with everybody?

I happened to up in russell sq today so had a look at the couple of places I was thinking of, neither had the tables and chairs outside like they used to so unless someone else knows somewhere decent around there it might be worth a rethink, I would suggest this place which is a bit further down from Russell Sq nearer Holborn Tube, but it has a proper outside area and we have herfed there before, never been there on a Sat though :

either that or we could check out the place Nick has suggested for the mega forum herf which is up the road just off New Oxford St, its a bit of a Wine Bar mind with prices to match...

The pig looks like a good venue to me. Good reviews and if you have been there before for a herf its probably a safe bet they wont be anti-cigar.

In that case its probably worth meeting at Holborn rather than russel square.

If I remember correctly there is a big Sainsbury's building over the road from the tube so that might make a good meeting place or we can just meet in the pub.

What do you guys think?

Also how do you guys normally recognise each other?

again not telling anyone what to do but Id say lets meet at the pub, whoevers there first can nab a table outside.... also people never turn up on time....

everytime Ive met someone on here before Ive had an idea what they look like, I know Rennie, and Snooky if they are both coming and well they know me, and we can swap mobiles and errm we will be smoking fat Cubans :smoke:

well after a dodgy start (the pub was shut!) we had an excellent herf, nice to meet Fred (Evil) and Pedro (Pedrohan) and Harry came along as well.

Some excellent stogies were smoked and we got to meet the 32 box legend that is Pedro!

All in all an awesome way to spend a Saturday evening.
