Lovely taste too, reminds me of a stronger type of montecristo

Now I wouldn't mind all that for my birthday! You've got generous friends/family Deano!!
The Piedra sounds very interesting. Be sure to post up your view when you smoke the San Christobal...for some reason I feel driven to try that particular brand myself.
Cheers,

Np mate. Though I own these forums (ok I serve them - you guys own them!) my experience is lacking, thus my reviews aren't all too good, I'll do my best!

Not looking for anything poncy Deano, just whether you like it or not, and how it rates with other smokes you've had.
I don't just like smoking cigars - I'm genuinely interested in them, so always looking to expand my knowledge about them. Must be the Librarian in me... :)

I'd second that, Wild. I like finding out about them, too.

the Jose L Piedra are great cigars for the price... they're often referred to as "peoples" cigars. they're not overly strong but they are a great smoke. Its a short filler so if you want to be a snob leave them alone. I always have at least one bundle in the humidor, they 're a great cigar with a cup of tea for breakfast!
