Hello to everyone.

I am looking for some advice, please.

I stopped smoking cigars almost 5 years ago, but was reluctant to get rid of the cigars which I have left in my humidor in case I decided to start smoking again. However, I reckon that I won't ever start again so it's time to find a good home for the few I have left.

My problem is that of the few cigar smokers that I know, none of them have a humidor and I don't want to sell mine as I plan to let it dry out and use it for keeping some bits and pieces. It is a lovely box finished with babinga root veneer.

Anyway, as I said, I have a few left, which are in excellent condition, and I would appreciate some advice on how or where to sell them as I would like, if possible, to get a few quid back for them and also see them go to someone who will appreciate them.

The cigars I have are as follows:

2 x Trinidad (7 in x 38)

2 x Montecristo No2 Torpedo (6 1/8 in x 52)

3 x Partagas Lusitania (7 5/8 in x 49)

1 x Romeo Y Julieta (7 in x 47)

Thank you in anticipation,

Gordon.

You would have to reach at least 25 posts before you can sell on here Forum Rules.

OK sorry, didn't mean to break the rules. Is there any advice you can give me regarding this? I don't want to spam your forum with another 24 pointless posts just to try and sell my cigars to someone here.

Why not give them away as a sort of Mother Teresa thing?

Did she give away cigars? Wow, what a woman - no wonder she's a saint! :D

I think Robusto has it right of course...and as I live in Scotland, have 26 children, have to work in a library all day, and have had 2 mothers-in-law, I reckon I'm a suitably deserving cause....

What? What'd I say??

:D
