Seems I'll be in Oslo for work in 2-3 weeks and apparently the airport has the largest DF shop in Europe.
Does anyone know how the cigar choice is there? I know tobacco in general is very expensive in Norway so I am not too optimistic about prices, but given that it is mainly because of taxes I secretly hope that there might be one or two bargains!
I'm off to Oslo for a few days towards the end of next month. I'll report back on my return if it's not too late.

Thanks Kdot, I'll probably be there a bit earlier than that (you never know, depends on where they want me) and if that is the case I'll definitely report back.
Cheers!
Hi Guys,
I was in Oslo a few months ago and flew into Torp (where the budget airlines go). They had very little to speak of - just the regular small glass display humidor with a few Montes, Cohibas, Davidoff, etc. Prices were unspectacular but cheaper than on the high-street over here.
My friend, who lives in Oslo, claimed to have seen a cigar shop just around the corner from his house but I didn't manage to find it. I think you're right about the prices - I expect they'd have been shocking anyway.
You might have a better luck if you're going to the "proper" airport, but, in short, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I think it's pretty expensive over there though, similar to our taxes etc on tobacco.

Thanks for the feedback. I suspect too that prices won't be great, but there's always the hope of being lucky . I'll let you know how the prices are, altoough I guess Kdot will probably be there before me as my trip has been postponed.

Finally made it to Oslo last week and although they have a big duty free shop the part dedicated to cigars is tiny.. in contrast to the prices .
