Oh I don't know................I had a glass from a bottle of whisky which cost it's owner £1500 and have to say it was utterly fantastic. Wish I could remember what it was now, but was very old and bought at auction in Edinburgh.
I am sure this is just rebadged Martell cognac, not saying it is not good, but probably not worth the money.

Im just so tempted by it, but it's so bastard expensive...
The cheapest i've seen it is £280, but like Paulie said if it's just re-badged Martell (not saying that's bad!!! :puke:) then it's just not worth the gamble...!?!

Some more information on this here (http://www.winebeersupermarket.com/voir_321982000379.html).
from the description it sounds like it is indeed a Martell, although a special selection special selection.
Doesn't mean it's bad, but looks a lot like one of these brand over value items.

Maybe not for this one.... (I'd say the same for JW Blue label; good but...!)
however for about a third of the cost of the cohiba stuff, I've found what I consider to be the most incredible cognac... and I've tasted a fair few!
Plus, not cognac, but for just north of £100 there exists quite possibly the greatest (seriously!) whisky in the world......
If everyone's nice to me, I may fill a little hippy and bring some along to the herf on the 19th (not to be sampled on the premises of course)
You probably haven't had any of this stuff.....

I've tried this, and I reckon you're paying about £200 for the Cohiba branding.
Lets be honest, Cohiba factory makes cigars and doesn't produce cognac!
Having said that, it IS a really good cognac, just that £150-£200 would be a more realistic price for me.

Yeah I thought as much.
Martell claims that this is a special blend of their XO grade aged cognacs but I'd try the Martell (at a fraction of the price) before committing to this premium-priced version.
FWIW I've never been a big Martell fan- I'm a Hennessy XO man- and I'm not even that big on Cohiba cigars.
For those who enjoy both, the bottle would be a most impressive addition to your "Man Cave".

not convinced on this one, Id rather try a high end cognac without paying for the branding which Im sure you would be with this as others have said
