I came on here quite early this morning (between 0500 and 0600) and in several posts the same entry had been made by someone which didn't make much sense. It was like a selling or advertising post for some cigar firm (from memory) and it was illogical wherever it cropped up.
So I wrote 'WTF???' somewhere, and 'Is this some kind of robot?' somewhere else because I was reading the same thing.
Those 'selling' posts seem to have been removed, so when you read some of the threads now it looks as if I'm being really sarcastic to genuine posts from others. Like I'm dissing the Che humidor, for example.
There's no intention to diss anyone or anything, guys, and I just wanted to say that.
Besides... I love you all too much now, dear stogie desperados.

Swearing is interesting on a forum, Monte. (You possibly know I've asked about it).
I am on a couple of very different music fora (I think that is the plural). One insists that language should be clean. The other doesn't give a fuck.
I did that deliberately.
Some people are really put off by swearing on a forum. I just know I swear a bit in real life - not in front of the children - and try to moderate it a bit.
I don't like the C word on a forum.
But I don't like the smell of Mary Whitehouse in my life, either.
Just tell me off, Monte, if you want to.
And Deano in the land of exotic puff.

I totally agree with you Bryan, its good to be yourself & feel comfortable on here.
But obviously if there was strong swearing from members then the member/s would be warned. only fair.
Most of us mortals do swear everyday its life.
Anyway i was thinking as your a muso that you should write a song about fine cigars & post it up on here.
What you think?
Monte.

Yeah, great to be on the same forum with such talented guys...I just don't know how you get the time to get so involved in so many things (teaching, extra-mural stuff, cigar smoking etc).
I'm being serious by the way...for a change.

By the way... I think smoking strengthens the singing voice.
That idea would get the boot in the outside world. :(

My mum always told me that 'fuck' was only used as an adjective by those that don't get to use it as a verb :D
