Anyone else up for going to the October 26th one? I'm particularly interested in the 1982 cognac (plus the Boli of course!)
I'm probably going to get myself a ticket......
Monthly Tutored Tastings on Boisdale’s Cigar Terrace
Once a month from September onwards Boisdale of Belgravia will host a series of hour-long, tutored tastings of a new or rare Havana cigar matched with a libation chosen from its extensive bar list. The cigar tutor will be H&F's Simon Chase.
Monday 26th October will see the second in the series when the Bolivar Petit Belicoso, one of the 2009 Limited Edition releases, will be matched with Hennessy 1982 Grande Champagne Cognac.

Excellent, the more the merrier I think!
These monthly tastings seem like a really good idea; I'm going to try to get to as many as I can (I can't make the Trinidad Robusto one in sept unfortunately)
Plenty of time for an after-herf too!

Each session is apparently an hour.
Although staying on after will be actively encouraged I would think!

I've just booked in for the 21st Sept event as I am more a red wine person than a Cognac so I will report back.
BTW there are still tickets available for this.

OK, I am booked in for both but Jimmeh is being a lady-boy again and isn't coming so lets put a list together of who is going to each event so I have somebody to talk with! As I said, I am going to both. Looking forward to trying the Trinidad T!

Just tried calling Boisdale but the chap that answered didnt seem to know if this was offered to non-members - is says it is on the link though? I'll call back tomorrow when Zoe is there to find out more...
Hey BIG T is it worth becomming a member? I mean are the benefits worth it?

Um, I suggest asking Zoe about that, she is the nicest person. Mention me (Trevor Hart) and ask about membership, she can tell you all.

Been looking for a club such as Boisdales for when in London - the Navy and Military Club has a slightly different slant... :biggrin1:

MB, it's certainly open to non members, I'm not a member and I have booked the 20th event. But you do need to speak to Zoe, I called them and no one knew any details unitl I got through to her.

Guys, if you're going to this taster, please remember your BOTL if they are giving out any money off stuff, i.e. if there are half price sticks, get them and I'm sure you can get rid of them here!
