The video in this thread explains why I have something called a Paradigm System for my humidor. I have to keep this highly absorbent device topped up with appropriate water. In the picture you can see it being soaked.

Thing is...
Am I doing it right?
Do I need one of those hygrometers?

I want to build up something of a reserve over time, so advice appreciated.

The two raffles have got me in the video swing. :D

This clip is sitting amidst my own attempts at music/gig videos so I might start a new account or something to post any further vid attempts as this might confuse my core demographic lol.

I have the same humidifier as you in my cigar case bryan, idealy get yourself a digital hygrometer,(Ebay about ?10-12) they are very precise, most analoge hygrometers (the round clock type) are not very acurate, unless you buy a very expensive one.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, Andy.

I've seen those discussed elsewhere on the site. I'll get myself equipped pronto because without one it's all a bit of a guessing game. I guess.

I had four years off when my humi stored bangles. I left Havanas behind. One whiff at a gig of a sublime stogie and I claimed the jewelry box back right away!
