View Full Version : Berlin: Herzog am Hafen

As I posted in another htread, I'm not long back from a trip to Berlin. There's a lot of smaller Tabaks all of which seem to sell Cuban cigars. The only big shop I visited was Herzog Am Hafen (http://www.herzog-am-hafen.de/). It was a magic experience. Waited on hand and foot by a lovely chap who made me feel valued even though I was only spening £120 or so. Thoroughly recommended.

I only took a few pictures but there was even more stock in an ante-chamber. There's also a fantastically plush smoking lounge as well :hail:

Great pics mate, looks awesome. I bet you were a kid in a sweat shop looking at all that lot.

LOL!! I certainly was sweating after my half hour walk from the train station in the semi-darkness....brown-trousering a bit I was. I was as far into the East of Berlin as it was possible to get...on my ownsome :cool::frown:

Stevieboy, great pictures mate. I love it when I get to visit a good cigar store with a good walk in humidor and a great selection like that, the only down side though is it takes me an age to decide what I want to buy, - but I secretly like that :biggrin1:

Nice place and great pics! I lived 6 years in Germany and used to go to Berlin quite often... only I didn't smoke cigars back then so I never even searched for this place:mad::rolleyes:!

Next time I'm over I'll know where to go. Cheers!

Hey Gary - I got a couple of singles of the new LEs...one of which is the DUKE from RyJ - it's a big bugger plus some mini humidors. I posted pics of them in the 'New in the post today' thread if you're interested

I lived 6 years in Germany and used to go to Berlin quite often...

Amazing city. One the very best I've ever visited to be honest...utterly bowled over by the place. Definitely going back...and you can smoke INDOORS (in a lot/all(?) places)

Sure am, will check them out. Yeah heard/seen that the DUKE (appropriately named me thinks) was a fat boy!! Bit on the big side for my tastes at the minute, I'm tending to be more drawn towards Lanceros at the minute and cigars of a 42-46 ring guage (although still love the Robusto's, but nothing any fatter)

But saying that hope you enjoy them Stevieboy and sure maybe do a review if you have the time.

HAHAHA - I wish I'd had more time to peruse the place but time was against me as an evening of Weiss Beer and naked tarts awaited me...got home at 6:30 in the a.m. What a night :)

I lovedc the place when I was there a year ago. I bought too many stogies, especially the LEs. Still have most of them in my humi!
