Slow loading forum [Archive]

I thought my PC at work was just a slow old beast that would not load forum page changes quickly.

Now I am getting boring pauses between page changes at home.

All my other sites are loading normally.

Is there a spanner in the works?...

Anyone else getting slower changes?...

This is with Firefox at home and with IE at work.
It hangs badly when the sponsor's animated banner is on the page.
It's the slowest I've ever known it to be on the forum.

The forum has always been 'slow' for me. I say slow as measured against other interactive webpages that I use. It has always been that way so I just assumed that's how it was. Have not noticed it being any worse lately.

Yeh I've seen it pausing too. I can only believe it's the host, as nothing else has changed at all.
