Hello folks.
On offer here is a Cusano Habano LXI.
http://longashes.org/cigarreview/files/2009/06/lxi-1-300x225.jpg
(Not my finger or cigar)
Cigars International say this about the Cusano
"A very unique experience.
Cusano is a quality boutique brand and it’s a shame more folks don’t have at least one in their regular rotation. If you’re not familiar with Cusano, this is a family of top-notch handmades boasting 91 ratings, complex blends, and buttery-smooth flavors.
For Cusano Habano LXI Sun Grown, it all begins with the wrapper. This ‘exotic’ leaf is a crossbreed of Habano-seed Ecuadorian and Dominican, grown out in the open to absorb everything the sun has to offer. This results in a thick, leathery leaf with ample flavors and natural oils. Various Dominican long-leaf ligeros are blended underneath, creating an eventful, spicy core layered with interesting complexities. The cigar is medium to full-bodied and full-flavored, promoting a rich, but buttery-smooth sensation offering earth, pepper, and a silky sweetness on the aftertaste."
Don't know about all that, but they are a very decent NC smoke in my humble experience.
Little CJ is on the way:preggers:, with an expected due date of 8th November:nurse:.
All you have to do is guess the weight:idea: of little CJ when he is born:welcome:.
Simple as that:41:
One guess each and this comp will be :closed_2: at the end of the month as my mind will be elsewhere whilst on Red Alert for birth partnering duty:eek:
In the event that someone, or multiple members get the actual weight, it will be the earliest guess winning. In the event no-one gets it:doh:, the closest will win, with the same ruling applicable in terms of when the guess was submitted.
Good luck:biggrin1:

This here weight you refer to, can we guess it in real units of measure, i.e. pounds (not your phunny munny)?
Or do we have to use kilographs or stones or fortnights or whatever the fuck you people claim is a measure of weight?
Hello folks.
All you have to do is guess the weight of little CJ when he is born.

LOL, George you just get down what you're comfortable with. I'm sure there'll be some sci-fi measures of weight that only a real scientist can interpret (to their advantage of course):der::smile: BTW, if you come up with something funky, please show your working to teacher ay!
Re kg offerings, I'll round up or down according to conversion.
Eg:3.5 kilograms = 7.71617918 pounds = 7.72 = 7lbs 11.5oz
I got me a fool proof tool for working it out, so don't worry about bias towards my fellow mods:rolleyes:

And for any of you that are unfamiliar with my wooden calculator: I borrowed the design from some ol' git called Thomas Fowler (circa 1840). Took bleedin' ages to make it, and in true BOTL style the whole thing is constructed in cedar:41:

Cheers Craig.
A little clue for those that haven't guessed as yet (and sorry for those that have) is that my wife is seven foot three inches tall, weighs three stone and is very big boned. Conversely, I am four foot six tall, twenty three stone, and skeletally very slight:eek::rolleyes::rolleyes::smoke:

Hmm... I thought 8 furlongs, 3 fathoms, and tuppence was a pretty damn fine guess, but if you find it inappropriate for whatever strange British reason you might have (must be one of those heathen superstitions) then I will just have to go with: 6 parsecs, 3 firkins, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Getting back to your light -weight guess, it seems too fluid somehow and non committal old bean. As for the mighty Alan Partridge in a tree, I can just see him in one, with a glint of of one of his pears dangling from the bow

Gentlemen, we have a winner:cheer2:...
C was born on 06/11/09, 18.39hrs and weighed in at 7lb 6oz:thumb:
The actual weight eluded competitors throughout, but according to my list, the closest in weight and earliest submitted time was Sir Whisk, our Scottish, singlemalting connoisseur: 7lb 7oz at 07.52 on the 10th October, just ahead of Boss Hogg who submitted 7lb 5oz at 10.04 on the same day.
Well done Craig:hail:
You'll have a PM a bit later mate:smile:
Should anyone notice any discrepencies in the above, please chirp up (we are up three times a night at the moment and the brain gets frazzled easily these days:p)
I've popped another pic up as the one on the first page, seems to have been swiped

I had forgotten all about the competition to be honest with you.Perhaps I should have another competition of my own just to keep things interesting and keep the interest levels up?
