Folks,
Not much of a NC smoker, but a supplier has just sent me a collection of El Septimo sticks. Don't know much about them, except they're Costa Rican (?).
Most seem to have a pig-tail FOOT - what does one do with these; light through them, or cut ?
Anyone had any experience of this brand ?

I'd cut the bugger off Neill.
No personal experience of them tbh.
Found their website, which doesn't give much away

I have never heard of them. Must be a small company.
Have you tried lighting through the pig tail foot? I would try that first to see how it leads into the rest of the cigar.
What does the cap look like?
the pink ones look a bit feminine, wouldnt dare walking around with one of them in my gob.

Cap is `normal'.
Had one at lunchtime, lighting the pigtail foot - feels really weird, but worked well enough. Whole thing confused me so much I initially forgot to cut the cap :eviltongue: Was worried lighting the pigtail was some terrible faux-pas, rather like smoking a Fonseca with the paper on, or using a gas lighter :pop2:

Loads of nicotine, fairly mild, not bad all-in-all - this one was a scary size though - ring gauge 60, length 5.5 inches - what's that all about ?

Had the pink one today. Took around an hour to smoke - these burn well, but very slowly. This was bacon butties, dough and cream. A really, really fine smoke - wouldn't mind have these in the humi :pop2:

Wooo, don't like the look of them at all! Look like candy cigars!

That sounds very nice, I got a couple of these too. I don't get the huge ring gauge thing either. They do feel and smell interesting though.
