Hi there, I am looking to buy some Partagas Culebras. I was looking at them on the web however I thought they seemed a bit cheap for a box of three (9 cigars) What do you guys think? I don't really want all three anyway but if they are this cheap I might as well go for it.
Your opinions on the matter would be greatly appreciated, also if anybody has any single coffins of three cigars please let me know
Thanks
Oliver

Much as I dislike them for my one and only experience with them, I went with them as they seemed the cheapest and I could order just the Culebras. Everywhere else was at least 10 Euro more. Perhaps they can redeem themselves by getting this one right.

I certainly hope they get it right this time, what happened the last time you ordered from them?

They put 57 on the Customs form when I'd only spent 20, then claimed that the Customs themselves put the value on. Absolute bollocks, but I'm not going to cut my nose off to spite my face if they have the cheapest price...

It's a doozie isn't it. She is back in the UK shortly and will be around Sautter/Dunhill later in November. May ask her to roll me one of she has 9 1/2 minutes to spare!

Nice T.
The last one looks a little like one of those first world war condoms which had to be washed out and passed through the regiment, you remember.

He isnt that old that he would remember is he?
Any who - i dont think that chart is right - a) look at a p2 or a partagas pyramid - its not that shape, and b) a lot of places say that a torpedo is closed at both ends - that was the confusion.
I think there is a lot of confusion because Non cuban brands are a rule unto themselves and there doesnt seem to be that much standardisation of sizes etc - whereas Cuba has set standards. The site that i found that image on refers to the "toro" size - which is doesnt exist in cuba.

It actually took her about 20 minutes, in the video there is only the first of the 3 cigars that she rolled for it

Excellent! I was a bit gutted to split the box I must admit. So are people intending to try them straight away or leave 'em for ages?

Haha OK! The wrapper on one of mine was slightly damaged by the knot on the top ribbon so I was going to smoke it, and then leave the others for a few months to see the difference. I love the coffin! Like an old pencil box.
