Does anyone have a disused, lonely :violin:digi hygro that would like to meet some cigars:love: in a safe environment please?

Funds for this potentially romantic liaison:hug:, are available:thumb:

Cheers,

CJ

Cheers Lee,
I was looking around this morning and peeped at them. How have you got on with them re accuracy, have you tested yours?

I bought one of these (http://uket.co.uk/electrical-test-equipment/lcd-panel-hygrometer-humidity-meter/prod_119.html) when they had them in their ebay shop and it's my best hygro! Spot on with the salt test. Could be a fluke but I'd buy another.

Wow! Price can't be beat. And if this hygrometer is as accurate as you say it is, I'm going to be as happy as a little girl when the 5 of them that I ordered arrive. I'm wondering if they are priced so reasonably because they only do humidity and not temperature too. Makes for fewer sensors and electronics as I see it. And, frankly, I could never see the use for the temperature since it's going to be whatever the ambient temperature of the environment that your humi is in and there's not much you can do about it unless you want to point a heater or a fan at it. Pretty useless information if you ask me.

Can't wait to to get my new toys.

Thanks for the lead, Dave.

You're going to hate me for saying this now George but they're even cheaper here (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Digital-LCD-Thermometer-Humidity-Temperature-Hygrometer_W0QQitemZ370248817062QQcmdZViewItemQQpt ZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item56348c99a6)! Though the first shop I linked was super-quick in getting them in the post...

I'm under the impression that digi hygros are much the same until you start paying megabucks, so might as well go as cheap as possible. If it's out when you calibrate it, I think it will always be that much out, though dying batteries make it decrease too. WTF do I know though... :D

On phone right now, but when home I'll move this info into a dedicated thread as it warrants a wee section all of its own ay?:thumb:

"If it seems too good to be true..."

One thin United Statesian dollar?

A bit too cheap, methinks.
