How long is your butt when you finish a cigar?

I estimate I leave 1cm. After that, a cigar gets too hot for me.

I usually smoke them to 3/4 or more if it's really good, depends on the cigar.
I also burnt my finger tips couple of times because couldn't stop smoking.:biggrin1:(Montecristo no2.:rock:)

It depends on the cigar I'm smoking, the more I like and enjoy a cigar, the shorter the butt will be :)

I have regularly smoked a Phillies Titan Maduro (6.25" X 44) right down to less than a 1/2" left for the butt :smoke:

I am a tight old sod, and like to leave as little as possible as i like to get my monies worth, but seriously i tend to leave about 2" or when the bitterness gets too over powering as i am also a wuss

I have smoked every cigar except for one down to where I can't physically hold on to it anymore. I thought that's how you do it! I only ever threw one cigar away before it got to that point and it was because it tasted awful. I threw it away after 3 hits. (El Mejor Emerald:frown:)

If I really enjoy a stogie, I will finish it off with a toothpick inserted as close to the end as possible and smoke until I smell wood burning.
