User Profiles and Newbie Greets

I assume the original intention was for Greets to just be a hello, and Profiles was for profiles, but it seems that there is quite a lot of crossover in the last few months. It's difficult for me to tell when it changes from a Greet to a Profile sometimes as some people like to put a bunch of info in their first post, and some don't.

Do we need both? Do you like them separated? Thoughts?

The User Profile was asked for by Robusto.

It's more for established members wanting to talk about themselves.

Alternatively I could add a blog for every member instead, which maybe quite a cool different way of doing it.

Agree with the blog idea, as Dave says there are a few of the newbie greets which seem to crossover between the two.

My wife's been telling me to write a blog instead of "wasting so much time" on this and other forums.
