Again, gifted to me by Boss. This was one of the best NC I have tried so far. With a rich and diverse selection of flavours ranging from floral/grassy when first lit , to being woody and full of spice for the first half of the cigar.

The cigar burned well from start to finish, had a first class wrapper, and once again the Rocky Patel range seems to be of really good constuction.

Although I have only tried two from the RP range of cigars, they do appear to be hard to beat in the NC category, IMO.

Thanks again Boss, for an outstanding cigar.:smoke:

I have a draw full of them, and have some more on order as like you have found whisk, I think they are the best NC out there...:41:

Interesting. I tried the largest of the Rocky Patel Sun Grown this weekend and enjoyed it enormously. Where can I obtain a decade to try before considering a larger purchase?

What about your friend Ajay at Teddington, T? He'll be able to source them surely?

He might be able to, but I have not been along for a few weeks. I promised myself to not go unless I have an amazing reason to do so until I am in work again.

Certainly a good smoke. Love the draw on the RP Decade and OWR. Only complaint is typical of most great nc- for the same price I'd rather be smoking cuban.

Where in the world are you going to get a CC that compairs to the Decade?

They do these in a robusto size, anyone ever had one or compared. I've only had the toro before.

Can get these from Cigar.com - a box split anyone?

Box of 20 Torpedo (6 1/2" x 52) is $199,
Box of 20 Toro (6 1/2" x 52) is $190,
Box of 20 Robusto (5" x 50) is around $180 (the chap did tell me but i've forgotten)

All prices would be subject to shipping, probably around $15-$20. I'd probably be interested in the Torpedo..

Anyone interested?

For the same price I'd rather smoke...psd4, ryj sc, rass, monte regata. I don't believe the Decade compares well to a good cuban. I assume you disagree?

Just found these and have been reduced to a shivering pool of dribble.

God they look sexy!! not a bad price too, well before the £/$ falls on it's arse.

Looks like Rocky's upping his game.

I must be the only one here who finds these to be inconistent at best. I had one from the original release that was decent, and everyone since then was lackluster at best.

I suspect this is due to placencias quality control, something that has been a problem for many years.
