I think most of the boxes are Cedar. The ten boxes I have seen are normally of solid construction, not like a 25 box.:smoke:

Depends on what cigar it is. The codes are here (http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/info-packaging.htm) and the retailer usually gives the packing code e.g. Partagas Serie D No. 4 10-box packing code is SBN-UW-n-10-n-10, meaning semi boite nature, 10 in a row of 10.

I've got a 10 count box of Montecristo #2 (USE OCT '07) right here in front of me and it is constructed of wood.

AFAIK they're cut-down versions of the 25 box and of similair quality
10 count "current boxes" are made the same way as 25 count boxes. Paper covered cedar with similar decorations. I regularly buy LGC Tainos in boxes of 10 so I have a bunch.
Cabinets of 10 are normally SBN.

Yeah, the 10 ct dress boxes are just smaller versions of the 25 ct db's. There are other 10 ct boxes though like the SBN boxes and the 8-9-8 boxes that are packed 3-4-3. I also have a 10 ct box of tubos from the 70's and the lid is super heavy, it feels like it's a solid piece of wood not laminate.
