since I'm from Scandinavia, you'd think I'd be able to source this one myself, and the fact is, I can - I just thought someone might know where I could buy it for less than £18 for a single (which I find is a bit much considering its small size ...)

thanks!

I don't know sorry, but I'll be interested to here any other responses as your post is second on Google UK for a search for 'Punch Northern Lights'! Do all the Scandinavian countries have high tobacco taxes? If so, you might be out of luck...

I think I'm out of luck then, I found the cigar in both Norway and Sweden, but although the Danish Krone is strong against the other currencies the shipping would take away the few pennies saved .. there was a guy on an Australian website that had received a 10 box, but I haven't gone so far as to register on that website only to get a hold of his source .. I would like to have a couple, since it's the first Scandinavia RE, but I think £18 is seriously overpriced

oh, and I haven't ventured into Finland - I don't understand a word they say or write :D

Hi Bogner,

I bought a box of these in Sweden from Brobergs (http://www.brobergs.com/)a month or so back. Buying a whole box the price was around £15 per cigar, the singles were slightly more expensive, about 16. Forget Finland... the prices there are ridiculous :biggrin1:.

I travel between UK, Sweden, Norway and Denmark for work quite a bit so I might be able to pick some up for you in Sweden next time around and post them in Denmark saving the shipping costs. My next trip probably won't happen before January, but if you are interested, drop me a PM.

holy smokes dude, that it very kind of you! I'm a few posts shy of being able to PM, but I'll get back to you at the end of the month, it's very probable that I would like to make use of your very kind offer!! still expensive though ... :D

My pleasure.

I agree these arent cheap, especially for a petit robusto... hopefully they are worth the money .

Having said that, I don't think I'll be touching the ones I have before a year or so is passed, especially after reading what the general opinions on RE are (i.e. they are usually released too young).

well, being from Scandinavia, one has to own the first RE released up here right? that being said, I believe you are right, and they will also be aging in my humidor until I think they're ready ..

You can find those at (google polarcigar)
Vintage/rare side 2.
Cheap? not really (but that is the price range up here in scandinavia).
The dealer however is trustworthy.

thanks! I actually ended up buying one here in Denmark, but it was badly battered by the winter, so the retailer sent me a replacement .. I managed to save the battered one with some torcedor-glue, so now I have two - will wait till summer I think before lighting one up .. to me it's way too expensive considering it's minute size

Just had mine earlier this evening, that was part of a swap a few 'stick a stick in' rounds ago, with Alberto. I'm not much good at describing the finer nuances, but it was a veiny bastard with a perfect draw and I liked it:smoke:
Thanks Alberto:thumb:
