...and size doesn't always matter:wink:
For my 3000th post, I have a RyJ Churchill up for grabs for the fine gentlefolk of the forum. However, it comes at a price.
I'd like you to post pictures of your tackle for all to see:eek::rolleyes:
The theme is any cigarianna or memorabilia. It could be a piece of kit you have, like a gadget or tool. It might be something very cheap, or expensive. It could be a special picture or poster. This is quite broad in nature and includes curios et al. Let your creative juices flow BOTL and SOTL. Please tell us a little something about your tackle too.
The item has to be your own and a picture must be provided: no website images allowed. This will run until the second week of January. I am still in thought as to judging myself, or it going to a panel of all entrants to choose the most interesting item. I'll update on this, and/or take suggestions.
On your marks, get set....:biggrin1:
(thanks fug that's done, I can get back to posting my regular shite)

And folk, if so inclined, can post up to two items. They don't have to be at the same time either.

Not sure I completely understand, but what the hey?
My "cigarianna" is in the form of my... uhhh... well... umm... I guess you'd have to call it a bit of OCD.
I save cigar bands.
From just about every cigar I smoke.
Ever.
Two of three femchildren are grads of the University of Florida and I ended up with this:
http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu222/rokkitsci/stogies/Gator%20band%20can/1mybandcan.jpg
"Hmmm?" sez I, "just about the right size to put bands into."
http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu222/rokkitsci/stogies/Gator%20band%20can/3mycanrunnethover.jpg
Worked real good, too. Until my can beginneth to runneth overeth.
http://i650.photobucket.com/albums/uu222/rokkitsci/stogies/Gator%20band%20can/2canofbands.jpg
Didn't think I'd fill this bugger up in my lifetime. Wonder just how many bleedin' bands I've got in this overgrown sardine tin?

Whoa Rokkit,
That's some bandage going on there:eek:. We've had a few BOTL post up their discarded bands before, but not to your spec. When you've counted them, do let us know how many are there won't you:tonguecheek2::biggrin1:

Here comes the "winning" post...
That's a Cigar gifted to me when I turned 18, back in 1998...
It's a Cohiba Coronas Especiales Limited Edition...
It's still alive and has been aged in a furniture made from tropical wood (I think it's called teak). A cigar that's almost 12 years old and needs minimum restoration before entering my new humidor with the rest of my cigars. It was stored for a "special occasion"...

Nice stick, nice story but sadly inadmissable saggel:(
The theme is as in my first post, which stipulates cigar/tobacciana; curios; gadgets; accessories; memorabilia et al. Soorrrry mate.
Out of curiosity, how come it was an LE? Being singly boxed?
Checking it out here (http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/brand.aspx?brand=Cohiba#Coronas_Especiales), the single box isn't mentioned.

Ooh, ooh, can I play?
I didn't see this first time round, it must have been posted while I was hiding behind the Christmas tree trying to avoid all that festive frolics and merriment malarkey.
For your delight and delectation, I humbly submit, for your perusal and consideration, an extremely 'poncey' Cohiba cigar case. Bought as a present (to myself), to be used to transport premium puro's when attending snooty 'black tie' events.
I live for the moments when the 'butler/host' type fellow pronounces 'Gentlemen, you may smoke' at which point I whip out the aforementioned to the 'ooohs and ahhs' of the assembled guests (then I get out me case, fnar, fnar!).

She was a member on a now defunct cigar forum. Her handle was Banu.
She was interested in a OpusX "A" and I had one to send her. It's what she sent in return and I never heard from her again.

The first pic is it in it's stored mode
second is the two pieces, the cigar rest moves freely along the rectangular wire you see
third is it put together. The thin stainless steel has notches that match the wire. You simply bend enough to hook the wire/rest.It springs back flat when done.
A thousand apologies for my ugly mug.I was too lazy to get the camera and used the webcam.
