DVDFlick is a very capable and most importantly FREE program.

Damnit I thought it was just me. Yeh the audio works fine for most of the movie and the last quarter of the movie or so, it always goes out of sync.
Im on the hunt for another program, when I find out thats better, I will let you know.

img burn actually works in tandem with dvd flick...dvdflick does all the converting and uses imgburn to burn the finished item to disc.
