Just started early this year and have been taking it nice and slow and trying to find some cheaper brands available in the UK. Not quite what is in my humidor but I thought I'd share what I have tried so far:

(All singles)
H Upmann Sir Winston
Hoyo De Monterry Churchill
R&J Churchill
Bolivar Corona Gigantes
R&J LE 2007 Escudos Maduro

(bought a few of)
"3x3" coronas (honduran I think). Mostly what I've smoked since I've started.
R&J Tubos no 2's

My first humidor turned out to be a joke so I've binned it - it physically wouldnt seal, it was so badly made. Hence me buying single R&J tubos from the village newsagents from the time being. Hes a cigar fan himself so make sure the shop always has a little selection.

Until montesmoke turned up I thought I would be surviving on Chinchilero Piccadillos, Kennedy Coronas and the La Invicta range, but now it seems I have more choice :)

I prefer temperature controlled humidors because I like to keep my cigars between 16-18 Celsius degree at all times.

Don't know if any of your guys have ever seen this, a guy know as Singapore Jimmy who owns a private cigar shop/lounge in one of the up market Singapore hotels and the only way to gain entry is to know him or get an invite, would give my right arm (not really but you get the point) the spend a couple of hours here smoking some of the gems he has!!!!!!!

Those humidors are phenomenal!

They're on a par with Monte's herf tank-attack silver hand grenade bulletproof flak-jacket donkey cable (Ian Dury) blissville stogie carrier! :D

One of those humidors early on could swallow the contents of an entire Furniture Village.

Mind you, the one that looks like a village cuckoo clock would be on my boot-fair pile pretty pronto. It wins a platinum award for kitsch!

But seriously... What a life to lead! The jammy so-n-so's!

Anyone want to swap?
No socks here. No budgie food. No teeth.

I think it's maybe time to start smoking cigarettes. ;)

Love the humidors.. Very nice, please tell about them..? That Punch Humi looks the biss:cool:

Cheers CohibaIV, yeah the pieces of card with the dates are indeed the dates I purchased the cigars, like to try and age them myself, not that any of mine have any real age on them, the most is about 2 years or so.

Yeah the Punch humidor is beautiful indeed, a real quality piece, bought it a couple of years ago from the Decent Cigar Emporium in Dublin (400 Euro) which now looking back I must have needed my head looked at but sure, if your ever in Dublin pop in, its a great shop with great service just at the top of Grafton Street. The bigger humidor is a 200 count bought off ebay and shipped from the states for about ?150, maybe less. I also have another smaller humidor, a circular one, about 20 count that I use for torpedos but hopefully within the next year I'll be getting a wine cooler (have done a lot of research and apparently work well as humidors) that can hold about 20 boxes.

Next year is a big year for me, turning 30 in March and fiancee taking me to Barcelona, stag party in May, wedding in August and going to Las Vegas and Hawaii and then she's 30 in November and taking her to New York (well all that's the plan at the minute just have to figure out how to pay for all this now ha ha) so should have plenty of opportunity to pick up a right few boxes of great smokes (both cuban and non-cuban) for much more favourible prices than we're used to here.
