Has anyone been along to one of the Boisdale tasting evenings hosted by Simon Chase. They look superb and good value.

I've been following the writings of Simon Chase for ages on the web, and it would be great just to meet a legend of cigars like him.

Next one is a tasting of the MC Edmundo.

Has anyone got any feedback? I'm sure I saw a posting from someone on the board who had attended the first one in September, so would welcome your thoughts.

Hey Rodster Big T and I were at the first of these events, it was great. There were relatively few people there (maybe 8). I think there have been more at subsequent events.

My advice is, don't delay, book up and enjoy the evening. Some of the guys went on for supper, I had to bale but I gather it was a great event. So my additional advice is to make sure you have a late pass and a way to get home.

MC Edmundo and 18yr old Chivas whisky.. never had either so sounds like a good excuse for a meet? I suspect many of you guys will have had the Edmundo already though?
