I just smoked a Trinidad Ingenios EL2007 with a jag of Cuban coffee. I enjoyed a lot. First time smoked and I would give 8 out of 10 for this cigar.

Snow watching with a hot coffee and a Cuaba Davinos. Not as good as the last one from my singles box. This was from an 08 box, the single I suspect was a bit older. And, smoking on an empty stomach this morning doesn't help much. Nor, I think does smoking one straight from the tup!

Managed to drive into work today, took 90 minutes for my usual 15 minute journey. No water here, no bathroom facilities because of it and I have a fault on my broadband so half my work can't be done
At least I have a Cuban Crafters to look forward too on the way home

A Trini Reyes in the snow. Don't know if it was me or the stick but a lot more pepper on this one than usual, still a very nice smoke.

Had a Perdomo 10th Anny Champagne today with a nice double espresso. Worked well with the espresso but without it would have been a little too mild for my tastes. Good flavor overall just not the umph that I prefer.

I have just fired up a Diplomaticos No2. A Wonderful looking cigar, excellent construction. When you order a single stick you always get the best looking one. You order a box 25 of the same cigar but never gives you the same satisfaction. I also opened a red wine. Cheers

Perfect draw and burn, but not really my favourite.....

Perdomo Lot 23 Robusto. I have a few Toros but I was sent a single Robusto a while ago. I am snowed in and missing a cigar party in London tonight so I sat in the kitchen and smoked it, very pleasant indeed.
Jimmeh and I tried a Perdomo Patriach Churchill each on New Years Eve and we liked them enormously. We both smoked several sticks over the holiday period but I never got around to writing it up. The disappointment of the lot with the Ashton VSG, the Perdomo blew it away.

shocked to hear that, T...
The Perdomos are great, but the Ashton VSG's are usually spot on as well. Maybe a bad stick.

Oh thank goodness you said that Kdot, I was worried I was going to feel a right tit and be the only person not to understand the Ashton thing, phew!
It is FAR too cold so now sat in a cigar stinky kitchen, but I feel better for it. LOL

Ive been lucky to try a good few NC recently due to the good chaps on here including RPs, Hoyos, Punch, Man O War, Padron, tatujajajajae... but have to admit that nothing really beats a good cuban.
The only one I fell in love with was the Padilla 1948 Churchill and Robusto. So much so I plan to get a box as soon as my credit card is unfrozen due to the recent fraud by one of our favorite companies! I guess its like being felt up by your uncle:eek:...the memories:rolleyes:

They just aren't to my taste! You know how some people don't like bananas? It's not because bananas are poisonous or foul-tasting, it's just because they don't like bananas. :D
There's a note in the EE that disagrees with me. I can only describe it as 'artificial vanilla'. I've not got on with the Epi 2 particularly well either tbh.
That said I love the Petit Robusto and the Hoyo du Depute.
