Got some today and just had my first one. Have to say, I didn't taste anything but smoke. I was expecting taste at least a flavour like people mention they taste vanilla ect. Am I missing something here? Hmm.

Maybe cos I've found them quite nice, but they are very mild.

Never tried a Party Mini so can't comment.
You may find you're gonna have to smoke a good few cigars before you start to tell the difference. Than you start to pick up nuances.
Patience, keep at it. I can't tell all these tastes either.
That ain't gonna stop me from trying!

I'm gonna finish now I've bought them anyway lol. I'll probably try a churchill pretty soon - I guess the bigger ones are better.

I never got a smell of any aroma but smoke, either. I was expecting it smell all nice to some extent lol.

Hi Jason - I've tried Cohiba and RYj minis and they were both pretty bland TBH.....waste of money IMO :(

Thanks for the reply. I've had two now and I really don't like them. Just seem boring and pretty much tasteless. I'm gonna get a couple of churchills - maybe I'll have better luck with them. Here's hoping. :smoke:

EDIT: Actually, I'm gonna get Trinidad Reyes single instead. "Expresses flavours of cocoa and vanilla, even some nutmeg and cinnamon.". Just what a like. :)

I'm not sure if you might be expecting too much from them, you're not going to get vast vanilla flavours, etc, what you may get is nuances of sensations likening to those of vanilla, etc, it's not going to be as if you're drinking a vanilla milkshake.

You might also get different nuances coming through compared to another person's tasting notes, different people can and will taste/experience different sensations.

It's going to be hard for someone new to cigars to accurately pick out the subtleties at first as well, so you may very well just get the taste of tobacco and not much else to start with.

I just don't want you to be disappointed if you're expecting all these great strong flavours, as you may well not get these sensations at first, if you're even going to get the same sort of nuances at all as the review you've read.
