Great stogies and would think right up your alley. Both are wonderful smokes and worth the $. However ,Kristoff cigars are IMHO in the same arena at about 1/2 the price. Read the reviews on Kristoffs and burn one and more then likely you'll agree !!
Just my Humble opinion.

The 26 and 64 are both great cigars. I really like the 64 better than the 26. From a price perspective, I don't know if the 26 is really worth the difference in coin. YMMV.

I love these also. Never had a bad one. Had a few maduro that set me on my ass. Just bought some of the 45th's. Waiting till better weather arrives to spark them up.

yeah no kidding about that, all of their cigars are pretty good. favorites of mine no doubt. the more you pay though the better they get.

They are great cigars no doubt...but considering the price, you could get great Cubans at a 2 to 1 value. I just can't bring myself to buy Padrons...

i personally would have a padron anniversary over most any cc i have ever tried.....and the 45th? well there are a bunch of people over there about to give their opinion on that one real soon. i for one say their cigars are pretty much some of the best $ can buy. when you compare a cc price with a padron of similar size the price isnt much different. even their normal line is great.

I agree Padron are some of the best smokes money can buy. Even their Padron 2000, which is a budget smoke, is good. I would not hesitate to buy Padron.

No doubt Padron 1926 & 1964 are top quality smokes (I've a 64 torpedo in the humi somewhere I think), but am I the only one who kind of wishes they made them in the regular shape instead of only box pressed, they always feel a little weird in my hand (probably just me :biggrin1:)

No, I would prefer a less severe press on them. Hard to get use to on a torp.

The 1926 #35 maduro is my favorite smoke. This little stick always draws perfectly, puts out enough smoke to mark an LZ and has a smooth subtle flavor all it's own. There are plenty of good similar sized CCs that cost less (Party shorts, RASCC, etc.) but the flavor in a Padron 1926 maduro can't, in my experience, be found in a CC.

i remember tasting JL2s in a couple of the 1926's ive had. very much tea, smokey tea.
thats what i quite liked about them, something about them definitely wasnt cuban, but something was!

I tried 64 and it was a good smoke.
The 2000 maduro with a couple of years on it is also a great cigar.
