I was gifted one of these recently by a very generous BOTL, and decided to try it this morning after breakfast.

I thought that given its Colorado wrapper it would be mild bodied.

Jeez was I wrong, this thing was seriously strong right from the start, but a very nice smoke all the same. Maybe better off trying these out after a nice meal though, in order to fully appreciate them.

Oh if you liked that you definitely need to try the Series '68 and Signature 1932. Both very nice smokes! All 3 have the corojo wrapper that provides that zing! Rich and spicy

Padilla 1932 is definetely is the strongest of the 3. I have some 1932 Torpedo coming next week. 1948, 1968 and 1932 are all great smokes. BTW, Padilla Miami is also excellent. :biggrin1:

I bought a fiver of lancero's that included the 1948 and My Father on another board. The My Father were good but nothing special. The 1948 lancero gave me serious wood though. I would almost say ebony. :whoo:
