Been thinking about the 2009 LE's and wondering about ageing potential.

I have now tried all three and will share my experiences and be interested in your opinions.

Romeo Duke - I have smoked 2 of these and enjoyed them both very much. Smoking great now but will be much better in a year or two. My feeling is they may well not age well mid term (5-10 years) as they are so good now.
I have 2 boxes and will give them 2 years and start smoking them.

H Upmann Mag 48 - smoked one (after a boli gold medal) and have a limited opinion on this beyond being a nice stick (will try another to get a better idea). Everyone else raves about them so I suspect they fall into the same category as the Duke.

Bolivar Petit Belicosos - Now here is the controversial one. Myself and several others found this stick almost unsmokabe, too strong, too much ammonia. I was discussing this with Simon Chase at the recent event and he suggested that these may be ideal qualities for long-term ageing. So it is a bit of a punt but how about buying a box and putting down for 5-10 years for a potentially great smoke?

I've just one of these beauties and I am giving it at least a year to rest...
Now I am thinking for a bit more... but we'll see...!!!
